Lucia Children's Picnic!

The Swedish Institute Alumni Network Zimbabwe is proud to invite you to our Lucia Children's Picnic on Friday 10 December from 13.00 to 15.00 at the Swedish Residence garden. 

Get ready to celebrate one of Sweden's most cherished cultural traditions with our third annual Lucia Children’s Picnic! Whether you’re young or simply young at heart, our Picnic will be an awesome afternoon of crafts, culture and cookies :)

You’ll make Swedish paper crafts, view the exhibition of Swedish Author Astrid Lindgren and indulge your sweet tooth with tasty Christmas treats!

12.30 – 12.55 Guest registration

13.00 – 13.10 Welcome remarks by Embassy and SI Alumni

13.15 – 14.50
Activities
- Arts and crafts (make your own Swedish woven heart basket, Never-ending card, Flex-tangle and paper globe)
- Cookie decorating
- Christmas fika (a variety of Swedish Christmas treats)
- Astrid Lindgren “Never Violence” garden exhibition (inspiring quotes from her life about children)

14.55 – 15.00 Closing remarks by Embassy and SI Alumni

Our event is open for Swedish Institute Alumni, Sweden Alumni,  Swedish Embassy staff and friends.

Please note that spaces are limited so we kindly request that you only sign up for the Lucia Children's Picnic if you are absolutely certain that you will attend.
